The XC60 is an established favourite crossover for many drivers in cold weather, but did you know that it's right at home during the summer? Three powertrain choices that adapt to the path, a comfortable cabin that helps you see above and around, and plenty of options help you round out the XC60 for the warm season. Let's explore.
The 2021 Volvo XC60 adapts to many summer paths
The XC60's drive modes adjust the powertrain to handle what's ahead. Whether you choose Comfort, Eco, Dynamic, Off Road or Individual modes, these settings optimize your vehicle. If you plan to stay on the highway for a while, Eco mode sets the powertrain and climate system to consume the least amount of fuel. On the way to the campsite, Off Road mode prepares the XC60 for poor roads and other situations that require careful handling. If your trip delivers curvy roads, Dynamic mode optimizes the suspension and handling for a little more fun.
The 2021 Volvo XC60 has a summer-ready cabin
The XC60 features an open-and-tilt panoramic roof that helps you connect with the summer skies using just your fingertips. While you admire the scenery, available Bowers & Wilkins speakers broadcast your favorite sounds and help make the journey a memorable part of the adventure.
The relaxing cabin that features Scandinavian sensibility and comfort for everyone. Front seat occupants enjoy 1,055 mm of generous legroom, helping you stay stretched out on long trips. Behind the front seats, the XC60 provides 1,410 litres of cargo volume, and 613 litres are available behind the rear seats. Whether you have coolers, outdoor gear, or luggage, the XC60 will stretch to help you accommodate your level of fun.
The 2021 Volvo XC60 has the powertrain to get there
The XC60 offers three powertrain choices. The turbocharged 2.0L T5 is standard in the Momentum trim and generates 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. However, the T8-equipped XC60 Recharge offers a premium hybrid system that generates 400 horsepower and outstanding efficiency, rating at 9.5 L/100 km in the city.
