There’s rarely cause to celebrate a vehicle with high mileage, unless were talking about a 2006 Volvo V70 reaching one million kilometres. The rare milestone was recently reached by Mrs. Rita Neuman and her husband and celebrated by Volvo in February.
“A million kilometres shows Rita’s dedication not only to her own vehicle, but also to our brand,” said Adam Kostanowicz. “Rita recently purchased a 2019 V60 from Van Herpt Motors and still continues to drive her million-kilometre V70, which truly signals her love for the iron mark.”
The 2006 V70 has been used as the couple’s primary car and serves to help others as well. Indeed, Rita Neuman and her husband use the V70 for charity work where they go door-to-door offering health care and support to families who need it.
“I originally purchased the V70 because we knew the Volvo brand represented safety and reliability,” said Rita Neuman. “The vehicle has allowed us to positively impact our community and for that, we are the grateful ones.”
