The 2026 Volvo XC60 receives a comprehensive refresh focused on user experience, interior materials, and infotainment performance. These updates follow the same design direction as the 2025.5 XC90, which has begun arriving at our Hamilton dealership.
New User Experience and Larger Display
The new XC60 now features Volvo's latest user experience system with an 11.2-inch central touchscreen that replaces the previous smaller display. Pixel density increases by 21 per cent for sharper text and graphics. Google services integrate directly into the system, providing navigation, voice commands, and app access without requiring phone connectivity.
Over-the-air updates allow the vehicle to receive new features and improvements after purchase, similar to smartphone functionality.
Faster Infotainment Processing
The next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform doubles processing speed compared to the outgoing system while delivering ten times faster graphics performance. Menu transitions occur immediately, and the system responds to touch inputs without delay.
This processing power reduces the time needed to access vehicle functions, allowing drivers to keep their attention focused on driving rather than navigating through slow menus.
Design Updates and New Colour Options
The exterior features a redesigned air intake with Volvo's iron mark, matching the styling direction of the updated XC90. New wheel designs and darker rear lights complete the visual refresh. Three new paint colours join the lineup: Forest Lake, Aurora Silver, and Mulberry Red, which appears on the XC60 for the first time.
Interior Materials and Storage
Interior updates include new premium materials such as Quilted Nordico and Navy Herringbone Weave textile options. Storage improvements include redesigned cupholders, upgraded wireless phone charging, and enhanced cargo area flexibility. The cabin also receives updated interior trim options and new inlay materials.
Comfort and Audio System Upgrades
Sound insulation improvements reduce cabin noise compared to the previous model year. Volvo's comfortable and safe seat design remains standard, with optional air suspension and laminated windows available for additional comfort. The cabin air purification system filters incoming air automatically to remove airborne pollutants and allergens.
The optional Bowers & Wilkins audio system receives updated speaker mesh design and tuning calibrated for the XC60's interior dimensions. This system reproduces audio recordings without added processing or enhancement.
